You can request permanent deletion of your Deenahaccount and its associated data at any time. Here's exactly how it works and what happens to your data.
Prefer to do it in the app? Open Deenah and go to Settings → Delete Account. You'll be asked to sign in again to confirm, then your account and cloud data are removed immediately. The email method below is here for anyone who can no longer access the app.
Request deletion by email

Email us from your account address
Send an email to support@asarix.com from the same address you use to sign in to Deenah. This lets us verify the request is really yours.

Use the subject "Delete my Deenah account"
Using this exact subject line helps us route and process your request quickly. No other information is required.

We process it within 30 days
We'll confirm receipt and permanently delete your account and associated data within the stated window of verifying your request.

What happens to your data
Permanently deleted
- Your account profile (name and email address)
- Cloud-synced bookmarks and saved ayahs
- Reading progress and prayer-tracking history
- Cloud backup data tied to your account
Retained (limited)
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you
- Limited records we must keep for legal or fraud-prevention purposes
Deletion timeline
Your account and associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days of a verified request. Any records we're legally required to keep are held for up to 90 days, after which they're permanently deleted too.
